These patent pending boots are sold as a pair of two boots. They are only intended to protect your horse from slipping in wet conditions while walking them in hand and/or trailering them.  They are specifically designed to accommodate a horse wearing slide plates commonly worn by reining and cow horses. They are only intended for use on the hind hooves. The boots feature an open bottom designed to allow the bottom of the hoof to breath and remain open to the natural environment. The boots feature an open back, making them the only boots on the market that can accommodate a horse wearing slider plates or any other shoe that extends past the rear of the hoof. Encapsulated in the rubber sole is a metal plate which provides rigidity protecting the hoof from stresses caused by uneven or rocky surfaces. These boots are currently only offered in the one, fits most, size. They are specifically designed to accommodate 115mm (4.5") wide hoof/slide plate. Length will not be a problem as they're made to accommodate slider plates and are open in the back. Actual length measurements of the inside of boot is 145mm (5.7") in length. We hope to launch more sizes in the future. We will issue full refunds for returns that do not fit provided the product comes back to us in clean and like new condition. We will not be able to issue refunds for misuse of product. These are only intended for use in transporting horses wearing slider plates. If you are looking for turnout or trail riding boots, please refer to our Bolt-On boots. See our Shipping and Return page for details.
